Everything begins with a seed. Greenhearts carefully chooses seed from reputable sources promoting organics, heirlooms and sustainability. Seeds are carefully planted and nurtured, plants naturally mulched and fertilized and fruits and vegetables gently harvested at the peak of ripeness.

Greenhearts produce ranges from fancy salad and Asian greens to broccoli, cauliflower and romanesco, delicious carrots and beets to summer squash and many types of heirloom potatoes, from gold to red to purple.

Our coast-side farm is a model of conservation. We use low and no till cultivation methods, preserve native pasture, restrict and minimize water use and make our own compost. Even our worm farm gets special attention!
